Remote remodeling projects can be trying and a bit scary. Someone recommended Blackdog Builders and I could not have been happier. Not only did they finish the project in a timely manner, but they were also able to do it under budget and the place looks great. What surprised me most was their accessibility. If I called or sent a text, they would respond to me immediately, answer my questions, or solve a problem quickly. I found this to be invaluable since most contractors are the exact opposite. Blackdog Builders recently completed the build-out of our new Storm Cycles location. All of the Blackdog employees were extremely respectful and professional. They finished our project on time and within budget. There were no issues and no surprises at the end of the project. If we ever did another commercial or residential project we would definitely do it with Blackdog Builders.
We hired Todd Evans with Blackdog Builders to do an extensive remodel and a 1500 sq. foot addition. We interviewed several builders and the choice was clear. BDB were far more realistic on timeframe and budget. And they came with several recommendations from the community. I will (and have) recommended them to many neighbors and friends who are looking at projects of their own. Todd has integrity and honesty. He has a loyal team of individuals, who provide online updates and invoices making everything transparent. He even has a stone division for exterior rock/fireplaces which was reasonably priced. It was a lot of work but the result was a huge transformation and we are thrilled with the results.
The entire Blackdog team is fabulous! We completed a remodel/addition of a historic miner’s cabin in Old Town Park City, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the process. I did a whole house renovation that lasted, room by room, over the course of an entire year. Blackdog Builders provided me with top notch workmanship at reasonable and transparent cost every step of the way. They always let me know what each step would cost, and tracked the work to the budget to avoid overruns. They were very flexible with changes to the design and materials along the way, and all the work teams were highly skilled at their jobs, always working clean and courteous. Office staff was always up to date on billing (so, never any surprises with old charges). Their job estimates were always on target, and they tracked expenses against estimates with every billing cycle.
